When you submit a quote request through our contact form, we collect: company name, contact name, business email, phone number, species of interest, estimated volume, preferred incoterms, and your message. We also collect your IP address for rate-limiting purposes.
We use the information you provide to: respond to your trade inquiries, prepare and send quotations, and improve our website and services. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Our site uses a functional cookie ('locale') to remember your language preference, stored for up to 1 year. Vercel Analytics (anonymous performance data) and Google Analytics 4 (aggregated audience metrics) are loaded only after you accept the cookie banner; both are denied by default via Google Consent Mode v2. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for operational purposes: Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare (bot protection via Turnstile), Upstash (rate limiting via Redis), Sentry (server-side error monitoring — currently disabled, no data flows to it today; if re-enabled it will run with personal-data filtering and we will update this policy), Vercel Analytics (anonymous performance metrics, post-consent), and Google Analytics 4 (aggregated audience metrics, post-consent). All of these providers are located outside Brazil, primarily in the United States, so your information is transferred internationally and may be subject to the laws of those countries.
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to maintain the business relationship and fulfill legal obligations. Rate-limiting data (IP addresses stored in Upstash Redis) expires automatically within 20 minutes of your last submission and is never aggregated or retained for analytics.
Wherever you are located, you may ask us to confirm whether we process your information, access it, correct it, delete it, or give you a copy. Requests are free of charge and we respond within 30 days at the latest. Under Brazil's LGPD you additionally have the rights set out in Article 18, including anonymization or blocking of unnecessary or excessive data, portability, information about with whom we have shared your data, revocation of consent, and the right to oppose processing; you may also petition the ANPD. Where the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply to you, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you may withdraw consent to analytics at any time.
